wide awake

My sweet mother-n-law and I were talking about the article in the Ensign: Walking by Faith, Not by Sight. It is about a faithful woman who has gone blind. The article reminds us of the passage in the book of John chapter nine. . . "Master who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?" The Savior replied, "Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him" This beautiful face is teaching me much already about the works of my Heavenly Father.

Heidi- I am so glad he is stable! HLHS is a hard diagnosis but you guys will do great. I have tons of info on site with support for mom's of CHD (congenital heart defects) kids. Email me when things settle down and I will get them to you!

Your kids are all adorable! If you ever need someone to vent to when things are too much, I have been there (and been there and been there) and I would love to do whatever I can to help another 'Heart Mom'

Please please write everything down, and take pictures of EVERYTHING. When he i 6 like my Braden he will want to know exactly what is in all the baby photos of him-promise!

Good luck with surgery- my best advice is see if you can get some good drugs and sleep through it- worked wonders for me! Ha!
