Ethan has had a good day. The surgeon closed his chest today and he seems to be tolerating it well. Tomorrow they will start weaning down some of the meds and sedation. If he is tolerating that they will also start to wean him off the ventilator. Hopefully by Sunday or Monday we will be able to hold him again. Keep the prayers coming. He has a lot of challenges to overcome in the next few weeks.
