An Update . . .
Well I have been bad at blogging to say the least but a recent push from friends and family has me back on board. However I don't even know where to begin. It has been quite a roller coaster the last six months. Many trials has brought much faith and appreciation for the blessings I do have. Especially my family. I discovered I was pregnant after a year plus of trying. We had actually decided to not try any longer when the good news came. Unfortunatley with it came the ususal 5 months of sickness!!! I accomplished nothing for those five months except attending a few family vacations. We went to California and Zions Park Utah during the summer. And most recently we went to Show Low over Thanksgiving weekend. Amid all this fun we found our baby is another boy (Alexa took it better than expected) and we also found out he has HLHS, or hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Basically only half his heart works and will ever work. He will have to endure a series of 3 open heart surgeries to become what is called a single ventricle baby. It was alot to take in, and we know this next year will be very trying. . . but we are so ready to bring this baby into the world and experience this together as a family. It will definately be a growing experience! I have to go make my cookies for Brianne's cookie exchange. I PROMISE I will add more soon.

"The Resort"
So I am back to my usual self. . . Going places without my camera. I just wanted to note how much fun we had at the Arizona Grand Resort (Pointe South Mtn.). We have declared it a tradition to go every June. This year the kids had extra fun because we timed it to go when several other families were there (Hiatts, Mike and Jen, Ryan and Jules, Porters, Aubreys, Jolly fam, etc.) It was great. They have a fun waterpark that we enjoyed for about 5 hours each day. I highly recommend it and the prices are very reasonable in the summer. If someone out there has any pictures PLZ email them to me!
Downtown Mesa
We went to downtown Mesa with the Freeman Fam for the opening of a new art exhibit. They had lots of free activities and food for the whole family. Cannon was obsessed with a stack of paper plates he stole from a food table. He was attached to them the whole night. On the way back to the car he had a tantrum becuz
Greg gave Alexa a piggy back ride, and not him. He threw the plates down and jumped on them like it was "showing me" by ruining the plates. It was sooo funny. And as you can see dad gave in and finished the walk to the car with Cannon on top. It was a nice evening, but HOT! So we finished it off with a Mesa Yogurt. The following day was Father's Day. . . and I would just like to add that Greg- you are awsome. Thanks for being you. I love you!

Darren and Cristen's Wedding
Darren finally decided to tie the knot! After he proposed to Cristen he realized that my mom was to leave town at the end of the week to return to Utah for summer school. So we decided to pull off a wedding in less than a week and at MY house! It was a lot of work, but it was wonderful. We are all so excited for them, the girls, and baby Brody!

Another fun lake trip. . .
We took the kids, Grandma B., Missy, and Sandi (plus some of her fam) to the lake. It was a blast. Gage loves surfing with Dad and the boys love to "pull in the rope". Unfortunately I did not get a close up of Grandma B. and Aunt Sandi getting tossed around on the tube. It was so funny I nearly peed my pants!

The pet debate
Our children (mainly Gage) have been begging for a dog for almost a year. Greg and I are not animal lovers. After much debating we finally gave in and bought them each a FISH! We have Bob, Happy, and Sessa Jr. As you can see Cannon loves them, however the fish are scared to death of him. I have found him trying to get the fish with his hand, a net, a toothbrush, etc... You get the picture. Gage acted so enthusiastic for the first 48 hours before declaring that "fish are boring pets". . .
