Miracles

Just a quick update on my pregnancy. For those of you who know my baby has been collecting fluid around it lungs since the mid of November. Every week the fluid has been slowly but steadily increasing. The doctors felt it would eventually build up by mid or late January to the point it would be putting pressure on the already fragile heart and they would have to deliver him early. And as you can imagine preemie and open heart surgery would not be a fun combo. But after finally getting the courage to ask friends and family to fast and pray for the baby to make it to full term the fluid began stabilizing (even decreased a little over the past two and a half weeks). The doctor asked me yesterday how I pulled off a MIRACLE? I said yes in deed, it was! She said she does not plan on delivering me early anymore (as long as the baby continues to control the fluid build-up). Thanks to all and Happy New Year!

Thanks Faith!

Thanks Faith! I was going to upload the pics you emailed me to my blog this morning. I decided to scan your blog first and I just stole your layout you did! You are awsome. For those of you that don't know, Faith Bast is one of my oldest friends who on short notice snapped pics of my kids for me!

Sledding in the New Year

Dear Santa, Please let me explain

The present my husband likes too much!

Christmas Eve

The Cutest Grandma/Grand-daughter luncheon ever . . . Thanks Azalene!

Oh I wish I would have brought my video camera! Upon learning that Alexa's music group would be performing their recital on a stage. . . Gage had to join. And yes, of thirty plus kids he was the only boy. The dance moves were the best part!

Gingerbread House. . . Thanks Grandma for finishing it!

The True Meaning of Christmas

Oh, how I love this time of year. It is fun to get together with family and friends and enjoy the yearly traditions. It is also so fun to see how each child in your family reacts to the events of the holidays. We had a family night where we talked about the true meaning of Christmas and the story of Christ's birth. The next day I was driving through our community to pick up Alexa at a friends house. It is about 5pm and there were alot of people out walking/exercising. My three year old Cannon rolls down the window as I am coming to a turn and yells at the top of his lungs (to the couple walking) "Happy Birthday Jesus Christ". And then continues to scream it at least four or five more times. It was one of those moments where I didn't know whether to go hide or be completely proud that he wanted everyone to know the true meaning of Christmas! By the way, am I the only one who can't get a picture with everybody looking at the same time?
